Hello all, my names Gavin from the uk,
I have just purchased a v70 d5 2002.
I have a cpl of issues,
1.the drivers side electric seat does not work at all
2,the sunroof doesn't open at all
Also there is a message showing airbag service urgently required

I've not checked anything yet
I'm obviously oing to start with fuses etc.

Also what is the recommended service interval and suggested oil please?

Hi Gav and welcome.

Yea start with the fuses first off. Have seen people tearing there hair out when it was just the fuses. On the oil type etc, do you have the service history of the car it should tell you what type of oil ways used etc. Now with a the D5 is a diesel, the first things to change are the glow plugs if there is service history as new ones will make your life a whole lot easier. Have a question for you, what sort of mileage are you getting per gallon. I did see a lot of the
D5's when I was back home in Ireland last month but have never seen one here but like one.
