Default How to re-tension a v70 cargo liner

have a 2003 v70 , just recently lost the tensioning for the cargo/trunk cover liner . Car is very well maintained and dont think it is worn out from use.
Any thoughts on resetting the liner back into the roller bar?

Its a round (what I call cork screw spring) spring inside. Never heard of anyways to "re tension" but I have a bunch of them lying around. No one wants them and they are piling up (no one around here anyway). I might if it slows down ever tear into one and see exactly what makes it work and see if there are any repairs than can be done. It is probably a tape spring inside similar to seat belt tensioners....not fixable, and never open the "WARNING: DO NOT OPEN" lid on those. It makes a huge mess, learn from experience.
