Default lower front engine mount bracket replacement

2001 Volvo V70 XC
My lower front engine mount bracket is cracked. The bracket that holds the mount not the hydraulic mount itself. This is the mount that is directly in the center of the car and underneath. Does anyone know how hard this is to replace? Can anyone tell me how to do it?
Any help is appreciated.

No it is the "front lower engine mount bracket". I believe it is called the "engine mounting" Volvo part # 8649262.

Oh okay. Support the engine from below and unbolt it. You'll have to remove the air hose going to the throttle.

ES6T,

Thank you. How many bolts are holding it on? Do I have to remove the fan?

Three hold it to the block. You might have to remove the starter motor to make it easier. The fan would also give a bit more room. It might also help to unbolt the mount from the subframe and remove the mount and bracket together.

Just in case this comes up in the future it is not hard to do at all. It is easier to remove the fan but also possible to do without removing it. Turns out the reason two of the bolts were missing was because someone had previously snapped the heads off trying to remove them. I tried my best and could not ectract the bolts so I had to have it towed away. I hate to give up but yo have to work blind and it was just too much.
