Hello All. I just joined the forum as I need some advise. My V70r is a 2004 w 440k miles. Radiator neck just busted, transmission is starting to clunk when I put it in gear, has codes related to tranny and brakes. It's been a good car. Is it worth it to spend the money to fix this stuff or should I sell it? If selling, how much do you think would be a reasonable asking price?

I just put new tires on it, new front suspension.

Whoa...440K miles. How could you part with that? I do understand repair costs; I have a 2004 V70R also but with merely 143K miles. Maybe mine is just getting broken in.

 

It looks pretty good for its' age. I just saw one on the road in Florida, a senior couple, of coarse. I really like the wagons when I need to haul something. Maybe repair and keep for a second car. You have already put some money in it with new tires and front suspension.
