Default O2 sensor wire

2003 v70 so I've been fighting with the o2 sensor for 2 days. Finally got it off. And the new one has shorter wires. Like 3 inches. I can still connect it to where it goes, but it won't reach the clip thing it was in. Is this going to be a problem?

In pic that's the wire connector

As long as the wires aren't near/on the exhaust you will be fine. If needed, ziptie the wire away from the exhaust.

New sensor is wrong. You need to get the correct one with the correct wire length.
