I like to install a decent trailer hitch on my 08-V70 (3.2L) wagon. I heard that the OEM connects directly into the car's electrical system and is better, though never found out the reason.

2 Questions:
1. Is there a real and durable advantage of OEM over After Market hitches? Why?
2. Can I get the OEM Volvo wiring to plug into the car and where?
