I took out the non-power seat in my 02 Volvo V70 and replaced it with a power seat. It doesn't work unfortunately. What other steps do I have to do to get my new passenger seat to operate? Thank you in advance for any help you give me

 

Check the wiring diagram to see how the passenger power seat is wired - ie fuses, relays, circuit breakers etc. What happens if you apply power directly to the new seat's connector (ie to test if its motor actually works).

 

There are 2 fuses for the passenger power seat, one 30A and one 5A. These may be empty slots if your car did not come with them.
