Default Radiator leak

I was hoping to get some reviews on radiator replacement. Mine is leaking and our mechanic wants to replace it with a brand called Metrix and/or Matrix (not sure which). Reviews on-line are vague and I was hoping for some reliable feed-back on the quality of these products. Thanks.

Try to have them do it with one from a Volvo parts supply place. Any of them should last 10 years.

Thanks for your feed-back. Would you advise to have a Volvo radiator installed versus another brand? If so, where would you suggest to go looking for one? Thanks again.

I'd get one from www.ipdusa.com or www.fcpeuro.com. Reason being, I have heard several stories about people installing new damaged rads that caused fluid transfer into the tranny which destroyed their tranny in just a few days.
