i have a 2006 v70 2.5t, i bought this past summer. when my fan is on lower speeds it sometimes squeaks. is there a way to oil or lubricate it?

 

do you mean the radiator fan or the climate control blower?

 

All I know is I hear the tiny squeak coming from the passenger side somewhere under the dash at low fan speeds. It doesn't sound like it's under the hood.

 

that's the blower, not uncommon for it to squeal. You can try lubricating with some silicon lube spray (avoid smelly lubes like WD40) but that'll likely be a temporary fix. Permanent fix is to replace the blower motor. You can search for youtube vids and other posts via "noisy blower motor" etc.
