Default Towing w/V70

I have a 2001 V70 with the dealer installed hitch. I have towed a fully loaded 6x10 box trailer. It struggled a bit and the mileage was cut in half, but otherwise no issues. Main problem I figured was the height of the box. Anyway, it is time to bring my 83 911 home. The 911 is about 2800 pounds and U-Haul lists their car carrier around 2200 pounds. I am thinking it will be fine...anyone have similar experiences?

Rent pick-up truck when you rent the trailer. This is a bit much for your car.

The V70 is a light-duty passenger car. The weights you have towed exceed the Volvo recommendations for towing weight. So far you have gotten away with it. Don't push your luck.

How far do you have to tow this " 83 911"?
