Default V70 battery issue?

We have a 01 V70 and the car can sit for a day or a week and start. Once it it is driven for a time and parked it seems something will stay in drain the battery down. Usually we notice when the alarm starts to fail as it will go off and not sound right. We don't know the age of the battery but it and the alternator have been checked and we are told they are good. We are looking for any other ideas on where to check.

Thanks in advance!!!

You need to start by getting the battery checked out. Should put out about 12.5volts.

check the 850 and V70 board stickys for how to test for a battery drain problem. If the battery is over 5 years old, time to renew, but first I'd see if you have a current drain.
