What gaskets need to be replaced when doing head gasket?
I am going to replace my head gasket, and I found a kit that includes many gaskets. However some gaskets I have not found while taking apart the volvo. It shows some of the cam gaskets twice while I only found one. They are circled in red. Do I need them, and what are they?
Are there other gaskets I would need that the photo doesn't show?

You will need to use NEW head bolts. They are torque to yield and stretch when installed. You'll need to use the thermostat housing gasket and you'll need a tube of liquid gasket and a small roller to apply it to the top of the head to seal the cam cover. The two metal gaskets are for the turbo to manifold connection - hopefully you left that alone. If you left the manifold attached to the turbo you'll need a turbo oil return oring in the block and the gasket that goes on the turbo end of the oil return line tube. Usually the oring leaks after you have moved the exhaust manifold around with the turbo still connected.
And - unless the PCV box, Oil separator, flameshield box - whatever you want to call it - has been replaced recently - you should take it off and be shocked at the clogged lower port. Of course after that decide how much of that system to replace. It is very frustrating to spend all the time and $$ doing a head job only to have the front cam seals pop out 6 months later because the PCV system is not perfect and have it ruin your new timing belt. Parts needed look something like below - and that does now show the banjo bolt and washers for it that gets clogged also or the copper washers needed to seal where the coolant lines attach.
