Hi there I'm just curious about what sealant to use on the head gasket for a 960 i6.

I use Blue Devil, have used it many times. It works for most conditions but not all...
What is your car doing?
On second thought, are you asking about head gasket repair sealant or sealant to use when replacing the head gasket?

 

All instructions mention sealant but I don't remember using it before on my other cars.

 

Yes, I think those "white blocks" do use sealants between the gasket and the block, all the 5 cyl do too...
