Will a 1995 850 Alpine CD changer work in 2004 V70?
Likely not worth the bother, but I have an Alpine 6 CD changer in my soon-to-be dumped 1995 850 and was wondering if it's worth salvaging for my 'new' 19 year old ride.
Is it easy to install in my V70 with the single CD (plus cassette!! Yikes!) radio?
From what I've read, it's not so easy or worth it but thought I'd double check.
I'm happy enough w/ the "entertainment center" as is and have no need to upgrade to gain better sound or bass or whatever but did find it handy to throw a few CDs in the 850 to have at the ready.
If feasible, where the heck would it go? It's hanging in the trunk of the 850 sedan but not too many places in the wagon.
Thanks for all who read and possibly giggle and perhaps share some wisdom!!
To note, my VW CC has a cd, aux input and an SD card input and I use the SD card 100% of the time when not using the radio. I can put 22 DAYS of music on a single 32G card - that's more than my entire CD collection.
Amazon has a single din option for the 04 v70 deck that is easy enough to install
