As strange as it sounds, the driver side master window and lock control panel will only work when the door is open. If I have to replace, does anyone have suggestions on used parts or how to remove the control panel? It appears to have an access hole in the arm rest where I might find a screw.

This is a 201 V70 R-design. It is a rare vehicle and is not an XC. I believe 201 was the last year for the V70. Thanks!

 

Hi it could well be a broken cable inside the bellows type rubber tube that takes the cables to the door it may only touch when the rubber has some of the bends out of it
