Beefier Struts?
Ok, I drive my car slow as heck down the 1 mile road to my house, which is in REALLY bad shape... 10mph tops, and I have had to replace blown out struts 3 times in the last year... is there any heavier duty or heck, even "off road" struts available for the 2004 XC70? cuz this is getting ridiculously expensive

what do you mean by a blown out strut? Are you referring to a failed strut piston (oil leaks etc) or a torn strut mount/bushing? When you did the struts the last time were the bump stops replaced and properly installed?
IPD USA makes a heavy duty spring seat and Bilstein markets a HD strut but not sure which parts you tend to eat up.

...good struts will blow out good mounts if they are not properly installed.
...if you don't have good install help available but you can do moderate DIY work on teh car you can get Sachs 033084 strut assemblies and install them yourself. You will need to hunt around a little to find someone stocking them ATM, though.
