Can a leaky washer fluid tank reek havoc on electrical system?
I just took my 08 XC70 3.2L in to a mechanic to work on a few different leaks. One of the issues was a slow leak in the washer fluid tank. It would empty about a week after filling it. The mechanic said he found the leak and repaired the hoses.
Then, before I left for work, I filled the tank and it all starts pouring over my shoes. The leak is MUCH worse now.
Then I leave for work and I get a check engine light after about 20 minutes.
When I got home, I checked the codes and these are what popped up:
Brake Control Module:
U012900 Engine Control Module lost communication with BCM
U300013 internal failures
U300616 low voltage
U042268 invalid data from Central Electronic Module
Engine Control Module
ECM P227000 O2 Sensor signal stuck lean bank 1, Sensor 2
ECM P227200 O2 Sensor signal stuck lean bank 2, sensor 2
Could these be related? It sure seems like they are linked based on timing, but I'm still just learning about this car.
Any ideas on how to address these codes?
Thanks for any help!
