I have always liked the Volvo XC70 Cross Country models from 2004-07. There is a 2005 for sale that only has 83K miles on it and seems to look great. I have only seen the picture on AutoTrader and it is out of state. They want $8600 for it. I had a 1998 V70 that was a great car and finally couldn't make it beyond 230K miles and I probably put $2K a year to keep that car running. Does anyone want to offer advice on these cars? Thanks!

 

That price seems fairly high. I bought a 2004 last year with 98k for $3800. I think $8600 is way out of the KBB range. There are a bunch of these around (since they last) so I would move on and find another for a better price, unless they would take 5-6k. I've seen 2010s around for the price they are asking.

I will say that this car is fantastic. I had to put some money in the front suspension (about $2500), but everything else runs amazingly.

 

Definitely overpriced. $5800 would be about right.

 

You should also check on "Cargurus", even low mileage for 05 but still too high price, I saw an 08 with 85Km sale $6000 another 08 with 75K sale for $9000
