Have a 2006 XC-70 with 180K miles on it. 2 months ago I replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor with an aftermarket version to clear a P0101 Code. I also replaced all 5 spark plugs and coils 6 months ago. Now I am experiencing rough start and idle, usually the 2nd start of the day and CEL comes on. It will clear for a day, then come back. It is showing a P0170 code, Fuel Trim (Bank 1).

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

 

Finally broke down and took CC into an independent Volvo shop. They came up with two problems. The first was the throttle body needed a good cleaning. Secondly, the rear oxygen sensor behind the catalytic converter was bad. Had both jobs performed and CC is running well.
