Default Power Steering Leak when cold

Greetings fellow XC70 owners! My 2002 has developed a significant power steering fluid leak, but only when it's really cold (-5C or below) - the colder it gets, the more it leaks! Oddly, there's no leak at all when its above freezing. The car is not garaged and here's no visible signs of a leak at the hose connections or reservoir. One dealer thinks it's the seals inside the pump, another suggested the rack and pinion.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks, P
