I just picked up a 2002 XC70 with 183k. Lots of nitpicky electrical issues.

Current main concern:

Where do you turn on the headlight wipers? Are they automatic when the windshield wipers are on? I couldn't find anything in the manual,
or find a button on the dash anywhere.

The headlight washers/wipers (if still connected - most unplug them rather than fix, they are quite expensive) come on when you wash the windshield with the headlamps on, but not every time. Useful in a snowy climate to get slush off - but just look cool in other climates.
