Default Rear Upper control Arms! Help!

Hi guys I have an 03 XC70 with 235,000 on it the front suspension has been rebuilt the trans has had the servo fix done and the shift solenoids. Now the rear upper control arms the bushings towards the front of the car are shot! Can these be replaced with out dropping the subframe? I really would like to do this my self if possible. Does someone make a tool that will pull these bushings? I just need a little guidance here. Thanks

Ok so I'm probably gonna have to drop the rear subframe to do this. Does anyone have a tutorial for this? The guy that usually does my alignment told me I would have to order a new subframe. Not gonna do it. I might order a liquid polyurethane kit and pour it in the new bushings though.

The bushings look like they can be gotten separately. No need to replace the entire sub frame.

It can likely be done without removing the rear sub frame but likely needs the use of special tools or home made equivalent.

The only reason I was gonna drop the sub frame is to allow mee to have more room toget the bushings out. I will try to get them out before I drop the sub frame. Thanks for responding.

Its interesting how little to no information seems available on rear suspension -- apparently a real problem area --- any thoughts? Yes, bushings are available, but diagrams for location??

Also, looking for a pair of rear control arms that are adjustable. They were on the market short time back, but now unable to be located--- any idea?
Thanks in advance

No body seems to know anything about the rear ends. The alignment guy was full of it. I dropped the sub and proceeded to change out he bushings in the rear that was worn out. I made as bushing puller with some washers that was the same size as the bushings. It comes down to if you want to do it or not. IDK about adjustable control arms. I sold this car it was the neediest car I have ever owned. After i sold it it went through two fuel pumps and then i lost track of it.

Have you considered going on ebay and buying a VIDA (theftware) CD (the version that goes up to 2015 should be available)? That should give you the steps.
