Default Studded snow tires

I'm about due to change my tires and I happen to have a good set of studded snow tires that used to go on my minivan that we just traded in. With that said, is there any harm in putting studded snows on an AWD? I'm finding conflicting advice on the web. Thanks!

the only consideration for AWD is to have all the tires be the same size so they all rotate at the same speed. Studs don't present any issues. Similarly, if you were to do chains, you'd want to go with the same on all four.
