Hello, i've got an electronic fault on my volvo xc70 '08. Point is that car locks and unlocks sometimes fine, sometimes not. Driver doors does not, also the mirror doesn't bend, like the passengers doors. With passenger side everything's ok. Also the trunk doors doesn't lock. I've decided to change driver doors module, but problem stayed the same. Any advice where should i look for the problem? Fuses ok. Thanks for any advice.

 

Did you replace the door lock module, or the switch module? Did you replace with new or old? Your fault lies within the Driver door switch, driver door lock module, or wiring from the Central Electronic Module to the aforementioned components.

Mechanical linkages for the driver door both latch and lock are okay? Does the locking problem occur only with the key fob, key lock, or both? Have you scanned for codes? You should probably start with codes before doing anything else.
