Smile 1970--145 station wagon question

I've got a 145 station wagon that's in pretty good shape except for this one problem, oily water keeps accumulating in the air filter compartment and fouling up the carburetors. Any ideas? I've adjusted the carbs, replaced the air filter, changed oil and filter, and put in new spark plugs. The liquid appears to be coming from the main hose connected to the engine, is it just condensation? Is this normal? Any suggestions of what to look for would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi Hannah, welcome to the site.

Shouldn't be condensation. Does it happen when it rains or when dry?
