<FONT face=Arial size=2>Experiencing quick carbon build up on all spark plugs and on O2 Sensor. Black smoke from exhaust, rough idle and 110 miles to a full tank of gas (13-14 gallons in tank -city driving). Ouch.</FONT></P>


<FONT face=Arial size=2>Just installed new plugs, wires, and O2 sensor. The car idles fine once the spark plugs are cleaned off and within a few miles, the problem repeats itself.</FONT></P>


<FONT face=Arial size=2>This website has helped me troubleshoot other problems in the past by reading other posts and responses. I'm hoping somebody out there may have some ideas. I thought the O2 sensor would solve the problem. Guess not. Other than a couple small oil leaks, engine is strong and ready for another 100K.</FONT></P>

 

It was the Air Flow Manifold Sensor and the Idle Conrol Valve. Running like new.
