Appologies if I'm in the wrong section.Just signed up to your forum. I don't own a volvo but I would like some information on them.
I'm from South Australia, don't know where this forum is based but I'm guessing europe somewhere. I own a 1967 HR holden, people are probably saying what the hells that? so I posted a photo of it below.
I'm going to replace the weak as, single spinnerdiff in my HR with a tough Dana 30 LSD.
The stud pattern is the same as my holden, I want a disk brake rear end and the track is very similar (30-40mm).
My question is regarding the Dana 30 diff used in earlier model volvos. 140 - early 240 series volvos I think.

I'm after as much information a possible, mainly about models that had Dana 30s:
What specific model volvos had Danas?
Ratios available?
Which models had which ratios?
Which models had LSDs?
Did LSDs come on a spesific version? ie all 6cyl versions?
Did they all have disk brakes on them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
