hello out there, so my alternator went out yesterday and i need to order a new one i need to know what the ampage is before i order it. i couldn't find it in my chilton book. can you help?

 

Call your local auto parts store or check a national supplier on line, they'll give you any options that are available.
Also, check with your local starter/alternator shops, and salvage yards, these guys can usually get you on the road the same day and you will get to know their faces and reputations.
Start locally.
