I came accross this excellent picture of the Saint next to his P1800 and being the classic tyre dealer i am was interested to see that Simon Templer drove on Pirelli Cinturato tyres https://www.cinturato.net/165-15 which fortunately Pirelli have started making again.

 

The Volvo documentary on the History Channel says he drove it several years after the show ended. Anyone know what happened to it?

I was in touch with the current owner because he wanted to put it back on Cinturato tyres. Initially he thought he wanted to use the Vredesteins for the road and the Cinturato for show, but of course i told him to fit the Cinturato and drive on them as well as show because the car will handle better with them, which i believe he now does.
