Default 1999 V70 - Add Auxiliary Input for mp3 player

I just disassembled my '99 v70 radio trying to find a place to solder my own audio jack (other end to 3.5mm male plug) so i can connect an ipod or any other mp3 player. I was following instructions posted here http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/ipo...adio_input.php but I think it doesn't apply to my unit.

Anyone familiar with how to do this? I'm trying to avoid any FM transmitters or tape player adapters.

Thanks in advance!

figured it out. the little card that was referred to in the matthewsvolvosite.com link wasn't exactly as described in my car so i just got out the magnifier and scanned for anything remotely suggesting L & R soldering points. Found them and successfully set up the 3.5mm audio plug. Now to get the right adapter for iphone! For more info and to see a picture go here http://www.flickr.com/photos/sanzibar/3761112598/
