lots of choices.

The best system set up I had in my old 240 wagon was:

2 10" subs in stereo on the SW channel off a 700 watt amp
1 12" sub on the rear RCA output off a 300 watt sub
all four door speakers hooked up to the front channel
Two 6x9s in their own boxes on the rear channel on top of the sub box in the cargo area.
12 band EQ in the glove box

it helps to have a few subs in the wagons....there's a lot of air space in them. If you do something that big though you really need upgrade the grounding through out your car.

first off what is the goal of your system? sound quality, being able to blow the windows off the doors with bass, or maybe somewhere in between? those three criteria are commonly refered to as sq, spl, or sql. Next is your budget. You can get great sound on the cheap if you know how to do it correctly. Third would be skillset and time. do you want to have something you can just drop in and forget or are you willing to put in the hours to install everything and test out different mounting angles and places. last... are you willing to buy used?

i want a sound system that will have good sound and quality bass. Budget wise, ill be willing to pay for the price of a good quality system. ill def want to pu the time into installing it so i can get it where and how i want it. ill buy used if its still good quality and not junk.
