Default CD had E-01 error code

CD has "E-02" code on 1994 - 850 Turbo. Cartridge in the trunk had popped out with outside cover still closed. Opened the outside cover by tilting it and cartridge popped. Inserted it back in and nothing happened. "E-01" appeared on screen. Then it seems there is no power to the CD Changer (eject button does not lid up). Please help.

Also, any suggestions in new CD changer (perhaps an MP3 changer)? Brand and Model suggestions?

Default RE: CD had E-01 error code

Kind of bumping this thread, I have the same issue in a 94 960, I have the E code as well and have no idea how to remedy it. I had put some of my friends rafting tubes inside my trunk and I think the pressure built on the changer may have screwed with it(if thats possible). I took the head unit out and tried unplugging the wires but saw no change at all and would really rather fix this changer than buying a whole new one.
