garage system...
Completed a fun little project last night.
I had a Pioneer DEH-P680MP laying around and an old 12 band EQ. I went up to Checker Auto last night for some new struts for my buddies Accord (talk about an over engineered suspention!) and saw that they had battery chargers on huge clearance. I picked one up along with a refurbished Bear Cat battery and $50 later I've got a new stereo system in my garage. I know, lots of people think it's a stupid idea..."how is the battery going to last? Think of the monetary implications....why would you waste your time..." It was fun...and it was cheaper than replacing my already broken home stereo for the third time....they don't hold up to the cold like car head units do.
I'll post a pic one of these evenings when I remember to take one...

wow...totally forgot about this thread....sorry for not updating it.

It's worked great for several months now! If you have an extra HU laying around, this is a perfect way to use it. these suckers are built to last in the cold.
