Hey
has anyone here installed their own stereo system in a 2000 S40? i have been able to put the deck and my ipod hookup in with no problems but i am stuck with where to run the power wire from the battery to the amp in the trunk. Has any one found a simple place to run it through the firewall or any other places? any help is appreciated! thanks

 

If you can't use and existing hole, find a clear spot in the firewall to drill a new hole and install a rubber grommet. Route your power wire under the carpet and along the outermost side of the car, (either side). Can take off the door sills to get access.
