I'm looking to hook up an MP3 player to the HU-615 in an '06 V70. We have a regular MP3 player as well as an iPod, so we need to use the headphone jack. All connecting devices I've found to buy are iPod-only. I don't need the song information or any of that jazz on the screen, just music through the stereo.

It looks like the only open connection is through the CD changer plug-in. Is there a way to splice a 3.5mm cord into a CD changer cord? Is it possible to use a CD changer connection and wire in a 3.5mm cord?
