Default Radio Station Preset Delay

This seems like a silly question, but is an issue that has bugged me since I got my Volvo ('04 XC90). When I use the preset stations on the radio, they take a moment to "load", or start playing. Quite frequently it will go to a message that says "P# Seeking" and won't begin playing for quite some time.

If I manually seek to stations, they begin playing immediately, or if I use the preset and then hit the "exit" button, the station begins playing immediately.

Any ideas or suggestions on a fix?

this also happens to me in my '00 S80, i personally have not found a fix to this but it did bother me. In fact mine never actually loaded, just said "loading" on the screen, then when i manually went back one station then back to the preset station manually the station came in fine. eventually i replaced my head unit with an aftermarket one. sorry i am not of much help, just thought i would throw in my 2 cents.

mine does that. if you tap the button again it goes right to the station. it seems to happen only on channels that have a low signal, so my guess is it has something to do with the diversity antenna. mine went crazy when i took my main antenna off
