Refurb my SC-901 and get iPod adapter or install in-hand Multimedia HU?
Anyone recently refurbish their SC-901 through Alpine? How much did it cost and how long did it take?
Does it now read burned CD-Rs better or the same?
Currently, my SC-901 sucks at reading burned CD-Rs and the tape adapter I'm using to conect my iPod keeps swiching from side A to B and back a few times before ejecting from the HU. I've tested 2 tapes I actually still have lying around and they do the same thing, ejects.
I'm deciding to either refurb my SC-901 and get a BlitzsafeiPod adapter or put in a touchscreen aftermarket multimediaHU (Jensen VM9511TS) that plays DVDs, AVIs, MP3s, iPods, and has TV Tuner that I have lying around but need the metal cage mount.
