I'm new here, and not sure if this is the proper place for this post.

I've got a new 2024 XC90 and I just received my Google Nest. I'm trying to pair it to the car, and not having any luck. In this video on the Volvo site ( ) it shows selecting "connected car" from the Google Assistant app. I am not shown that option when I open up Google Assistant on my iPhone, so I've been unable to get my XC90 "talking" to my Google account.

Any thoughts or ideas would be most appreciated. Volvo online help has been next to useless.

I can confirm a few items: I have the Assistant app on my iPhone.
I have the Google Home app on my iPhone.
Both the car and my Nest are on the same wifi.
But, no matter what I do, I never see "connected cars" as shown on the setup video on the Google Assistant app.
