Volvo 850 Wagon - want subs but without taking up too much space
I want to outfit my new 94 850 Turbo wagon with new speakers, radio, and set of subs without taking up too much space with the subs. Have any suggestions for brand, size, and/or type of sub that would be good for space saving with heavy bump? Thanks!

I have heard good things about Kicker's shallow mount CompVT subs. Here is a link:

I am going to save you lots of time and headache.
Do not try to buy a "shallow mount" sub thinking it will sound that good. Go and buy a Polk Audio "mobile monitor series" 10 or 12. they are really really shallow but are not made like 99% of the crap shallow subs.
they are super effecient which means they will not require much power to get them going. I ran mine off 300 watts no issue at all. They will take plenty of power, ran a pair of 10's on 1000rms daily.
I just sold my 12 or I would have made you a deal.
these subs also require very little space so you will not need a big box.
better that any shallow sub I have seen. search you will find nothing but good info.

I havnt seen every sub but I have seen quite a few. I have owned hundreds of amps so I am kind of a stereo nutjob.
