Default Volvo S40 T5 MY08 headunit - Can it be changed?

Does anyone know if its possible to change the headunit on these cars?
I find that the headunit on these cars extremely boring
Thinking of replacing it with a Alpine Headunit if thats possible

Thanks

Yep, I know it is on the S60, so it should be on the 40.

What year model is yours?

I know on my 01 s60, to remove the HU you take the following steps:
1: remove the pen holder
2: unscrew the 2 torx screws holding the climate control unit in. DO NOT unplug it, it will trigger the immobilizer system. It is recommended that you disconnect the battery and check to make sure CCU connections are tight so that if the CCU gets unplugged while you are working, it won't keep ur car from starting.
3: Unscrew the screws holding the stock HU in, and disconnect the wires.

Now you will need something like this (except for your model) to use a single din HU. You may also like to get a wiring harness so you don't have to cut the stock wires.

Good luck!

EDIT: Also, the antenna plug for volvos is nonstandard, you will need an adaptor like this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-74hWLdu...mp;I=12040VL10
