I've been searching the web all morning in an attempt to find the color code for my (cream, tan, beige, sand, taupe, ...?) interior in my '03 S60.

The stitching on my driver's seat is simply falling apart. The leather is in good shape, but the stitching is just breaking down. I have found several sites that sell the appropriate "upholstery grade" thread, but I was hoping to find a name or code for the actual Volvo interior color so I could order the correct color thread. That part of the project has been unbelievably difficult.

I have yet to find a list of the Volvo interior colors that were offered in 2003. I have the owner's manual and all the accompanying literature that came with the car (but not the window sticker) and it told me nothing.

I finally found this website that tells me how to find the code on the data plate for both paint and interior:

Now I have the code (9981)...now I just need to find the name and, hopefully, a thread manufacturer that can cross reference it. I'll keep you posted!
