Could someone please help me with this. I want to paint the black plastic moldings around the car and at the bottom of the car. I want to paint these moldings correctly, even if it takes me a whole month to do it. I need know to how to clean thoroughly, prime the correctly and paint them correctly. how many coats of cleaning, prime, and paint? what cleaner, prime, and paint should i use? Let me know the correct way to do this please. thank you for your help. BTW it's for a 01 S80.

UPDATE: I want to paint them a smooth nice looking black.

 

What color are you trying to paint them?

 

Anyone done this? Plan on doing the trim on my black 02 V70. I'm guessing some high build primer would do the trick?
