Default 01 v70 coolant level sensor

So I know about the coolant level sensor f-ing up and saying its low when it isn't, but I filled it up to the max fill line a little over two months ago and have driven it a handful of times since. It popped on again and I checked it and it was to the minimum fill line. I probably have a leak somewhere but I cant find it. It hasn't been blowing any white smoke out the exhaust. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Checking hoses and such is a bit more difficult than people think so get limber, jack the car safely and wear dirty clothes.

Check the hoses to the reservoir itself.
Check the front foot wells (floor floor) for moisture.
Look at the "right side of the engine". It'll be facing the rear since the engine is transversely mounted. Find the oil cooler. See if it's hoses are leaking. The hoses you se are for coolant. The oil stays inside.
On an '01 it's completely possible your radiator has developed a leak between the core and one of the tanks. Ergo the seam is vertical.
A small leak can creep down the seam and evaporate. Keep an eye peeled for "frostiness". That'd be coolant residue.

Also remember to inspect when the system is cold and when it's hot.

Happy New Year
