ALright, so i purchased the Bosch OEM oxygen sensors as replacements. (just the upstream ones for now.) I purchased the Cheaper universal 4 wire set. Needless to say, After taking the old sensor out, the Wires don't match??? The Bosch Universal had four wires; 2 white, 1 black, 1 gray. The Volvo has a yellow, red, white, black, and gray 5 wire setup? What's the Right order to put the Universal wiring as?

 

they sell 4 and 5 wire universal, you would need the 5 wire one, there is nothing you can do with a 4 wire

 

i agree, you bought a 4 wire universal, you need a 5 wire

 

1996-850 Volvo i purchased Boch universal oxygen sensor 4 wire (2white,1black,1gray).Orignal oxygen sensor has four wire also (yellow,red,white, black). How to match the wire?
