Wire colors, second guessing myself.
For my 1985 244DL, what color wire goes to the coolant temp sensor (for the ECU, not the gauge)? I have conflicting reports; blue, yellow, blue with stripe. There is no blue wire where my gray box connector used to be, there are no blue wires leading to spade connectors. I suspect the lack of a correct coolant temp signal is contributing to rich-smelling exhaust and lack of power.
This Is what I know:
Blue, yellow or blue with stripe ->Coolant temp sensor
Brown ->Knock sensor
Red ->Alternator (no problems here)
Blue w/red stripe ->Oil pressure switch
Black ->Starter
Yellow w/blue stripe ->Temp gauge (only one temp sensor, don't know what to do there)
This is what I have:
Blue with red stripe
Yellow with blue stripe
Red
Black
Yellow
Orange (maybe this is the brown wire? I'm colorblind)
Where am I wrong? What is right? It seems every wiring diagram I see is different. The one I based my current wiring job off of is the LH-2.2 diagram in the Haynes manual.

The diagram shows a solid blue wire, but you can look at ECU pin #2 to verify that. It should measre ~2.5K ohms to ground at 70 deg. F.
