I have M47 gearbox in my Locost project.
The 1st gear is pretty useless since the gear ratio is 4,03:1
In some other cars #1 is typically 3:1, or maybe even 2.7:1 or so.

Does anyone know if there is any Cost efficient way to make this wery short #1 longer?
Is there any other Volvo gearbox that you can use donate gears into M47?
Is there Aftermarket gearsets? Other than 5000$ Quaife Dogbox sets.

Or am I the only one who thinks that in M47 the #1 gear is totally useless?
