Default Water in the oil

I have water leaking into the oil system of my 1980 volvo 240, DL. I kno a blown head gasket is one possibility for this and im wondering what other possible locations for a leak are. and any tips on what to do to go about fixing this.

I've always been told that water in oil = blown head gasket. I don't know about Volvos, but I can't think of any other realistic and common way for this to happen (other than dumping a jug of H2O into your oil cap).

Edit: Nevermind... I just realized this post is 5 months old. I hope you got your stuff fixed!

Possibilities... are worst than a headgasket. Cracked block or cracked head will also cause that.

I'd say head warpage over the head or block cracking... that takes some serious stress.
