Default Anyone sick of all the recent spam?

What is with all the spam? I feel like I'm in Hawaii. I want to tell certain members (ha, 'members' implies that they have something useful to contribute) to go peddle their junk elsewhere. Maybe it's just me ...

Yes they are a pain in the south end.

As soon as I spot one, I delete it. I just think of it as a daily routine.

They can waste as much time as they wish to no avail.

Well SPAMMERS wont respond to your e-mails or your messages. So DO NOT PM them, E-mail them or respond to their threads.

Us mods will take care of the threads my deleting them when we see them.

How do you BAN them? I don't even see the option for BANNING. Infraction is our mode of discipline.

Which way can you ban people?

User name or IP banning?

Still no one has told me how us MODS can ban people. I only see INFRACTIONS that can be given.

When you delete a post or thread, there should be a pane that gives you banning option, as far as I an remember. I have banned this poster that kept posting some ads about traveling.

Next time I spot a spammer, I'll be able to tell you more accurate directions, but at the moment my memory is vague.

If I see spam I click on the members name and see all the members posts.
Then I check all the posts and choose to delete all posts as spam.
Then it will have a option to ban the user.

I don't get the ever when I delete SPAM. No option for it. All I can do is give infractions.

Try the way I said.
Go into their screen name from the post and look at all of their posts.
When in that screen check the posts you want to delete.
Then go to the bottom under moderation options. Then you should see delete posts as spam. Then you will be able to ban from there.

Tech's way worked, but god is that a long about route to take to be able to do that. Should be with the infraction method as well.
