Default Not getting admin approved

Hi,

I am not sure how else to get in touch with a moderator. I have been a member for one week and still do not see my first post.

I got the "pending admin approval" both times when I posted in the 740 enthusiasts forum, but haven't seen my post yet.

Ironically, I got spam from user Serendipity, who obviously got approved, but I don't have the rights to view thier spammy profile.

Thanks for the help. -Tadd

Default Update

I am able to post.

FYI: the two posts I made never showed up. I have posted all that I want now so I'm good with that.

I was under the impression that the posts were being approved, not my ability to post. I based this on the following:
  1. I was able to post in new members.
  2. The message I got after posting seemed to suggest only the post was being approved.

If I was just being an idiot, feel free to delete this thread, otherwise I'm kinda curious to find out what happened.

Thanks. -Tadd

Typically, once you register with the forum there is no delay in your ability to post anywhere in the forum. Often mods will move threads if they are in the wrong sub-forum. An example would be any specific model related tech questions posted in general Volvo forum. Some mods will move the thread and leave no redirect while others will leave a redirect notice for 30 days. My best advice is to go into your profile and make certain you choose to be notified by email when there are responses to your threads as well as when you receive PM's. The forum generated email will have a link to follow that will take you to your thread wherever it may be. Far too many people fail to take a moment and examine the layout of the forum. It's pretty simple where to post tech questions...in the sub-forum by model. As for threads just totally disappearing, that is usually reserved for obvious spammers. Mods have the ability to monitor ISP's. When a new member says they're from Detroit but their English is poor and their ISP says New Delhi...the member and all the posts disappear/banned for life. Links to non-Volvo related websites can/will get stripped from the members sig at the mods discretion.
