So i noticed a post in the offtopic section thats talking about students or something that looks like its advertising adult movies or something, this spam.......??? just throwing that out there to see if anyone else has notices this too, just wanted to see what was up with that post.

Yeah, got it and another one right below it. As for spam, it's always been an issue. I think this being an ad supported forum has a bit to do with it. It's the flip side of never being hounded for contributions. If you notice my sig, I took the liberty of announcing my displeasure with the spam in Russian as well as translated into English.

 

Many harmful sites/businesses use automatic spam-posting program so it is a never-ending battle.

As soon as I see one, it goes into "physically remove" mode.

I usually am on 2 to 3 times during the day. As soon as I see this stuff BAM! it's gone.
